0.1.2 - Fading and drowning
Changes:
BAT-57 - Destroying platform under player doesn't trigger water
BAT-65 - Fade effect on title screen is no longer working
In Progress:
BAT-63 - Design for how to manage non player entities
BAT-61 - Implement time system
BAT-60 - Determine time system requirements and design solution
Update:
This week I made a lot of progress toward adding in AI and NPCs but most of it was foundational work so can't be seen yet. Lots more experimentation with GOAP, designing how to handle NPCs architecturally and work has begun on a proper turn/time system so that NPCs and the player can coexist appropriately.
Up Next:
Going to keep smashing away at adding in AIs and NPCs and I've got my eye on a couple visual changes that I think will help make the experience fill a bit tighter:
BAT-66 - Agent image reorients based on direction of movement
BAT-23 - Add a loading screen when entering a level
Really excited to keep on moving forward and uphold my commitment of a release a week going!!
